Mount Baldy, Elbow-Sheep Wildland Provincial Park
Just a mere hour drive form Calgary takes you to this stunningly gorgeous view of Barrier Lake. It takes some effort to climb the scrambling section but do-able for an average hiker to get to the summit. At the summit, the view of the entire lake and surround mountain escape will you breathless. Mount Baldy Peak is a 2.6 mile out and back trail located near Kananaskis Improvement, Alberta, Canada that features a lake and is rated as difficult
I was not able to make to the traverse portion of the climb due to snowy condition. the best time to go is around mid-July to end of September.
